The OJ Book: The Truth is Not in the Fine Print

Filed under: Retail,Uncategorized — Edgar (aka MrConsumer) @ 6:40 am

Mouse Print* has long stood for the proposition that the big print doesn’t always tell the full story, and that the fine print is often the only place to find the complete truth.

Challenging that assumption is the Goldman family’s design for the OJ Simpson book they are publishing, If I Did It.  The book describes how OJ hypothetically would have killed his wife and the Goldman’s son, Ron. As you can see from the cover (enhanced with yellow arrow and asterisk by Mouse Print*), for once, the fine print probably distorts the truth.

  1. I’m simultaneously in awe of their chutzpah and appalled by their eagerness to bring that jerk’s alleged writing to the public for a windfall.

  2. It’s interesting that fine=print is so common that this little joke is hardly found odd.

  3. Sounds like he is “sort of” admitting what we’ve all known for some time now! I think the jury
in the civil case had it right.

  4. It’s all morbidly fascinating. In a way, it’s nice that the Goldmans are publishing this and got to design the cover and are making the money from it. On the other hand, I’m not sure the words of the killer should ever have been brought into public light under any circumstances. Oh, and it’s nice of OJ to commit that timely robbery in Las Vegas. It will surely help pump up sales of the book for the Goldmans.

  5. I
cannot imagine why any sane person would want to read a book on opn on how how a mon how a murder was committed (assuming he really did it). And , even worse, are we now to be subjected to another OJ Trial with comments by Geralso et alia.

  6. The only thing needed to make it entirely factual would be turning the “if” to a “How”

  7. It seems to me it was punishment to take the potential profit away from OJ- but sick, sick, sick to go ahead
and profut from the murder of a lived one.

  8. If they are giving all of the profits to the children (as I heard) then I think this is alright. However if they are keeping one cent for themselves then I think they are greedy trash. If he didn’t do it, why has he never helped or cared to find who did!!!

  9. Good call, mouse print! As always, you have stuck with the truth!

  10. Like the majority of the free world, I to believe that he killed Nicole and Ron. I also believe that the Goldman’s should be allowed to get the money they were awarded in the civil suit. Having that stupid man tell the world how he did it – talk about arrogance – and then have his victims benefit from it – seems the perfect ironic twist to me. Anyone that ever supported him should wake up and see him for the monster he truly is.

  11. The Goldmans seem so greedy. I doubt they will give the profits to any charity. They are out to recover the money from their civil suit. Nicole’s family suffered a loss too, but we never hear about them with their hands out for money.
But regardless, OJ is a jackass.
