Glory hallelujah! It's about time! I couldn't care less about Costco's claim. Just the fact that the cans can now make larger meals along with the fillers is all I care about. I can only hope that other brands upsize their products (besides tuna) and adjust the cost accordingly. To keep pace with inflation, inflate the price, not deflate the product!

It really really irks me that pretty much all tuna elsewhere is 5 ounces, it pretty much makes it impossible to make more than one reasonable sandwich per can. I've noticed that many private labels have went to 5 ounces. Trader Joe's was a holdout at 6 ounces until last week when I finally noticed that there was a mix of 5 and 6 ounce cans on the shelf. I've also noticed that the price of solid white tuna has skyrocketed and I've not seen it on sale here in the Washington DC area for quite some time.
