I purchased a Haier dorm fridge and it states that it has no refrigeration Freon to worry about, its totally green friendly. I don't know if it stated that it shouldn't be used for food, but I do know that when it's above 70degrees outside I can't cool a can of soda. Sears isn’t the only culprit to this cooler situation.
