For decades, diabetics have had to prick a finger to get a drop of blood on a test strip that is then inserted into a meter to quickly display a blood glucose reading.
Then a CGM — a continuous glucose meter — which attaches to your upper arm was invented. It transmits your reading to a cellphone app. It still has to slightly puncture the skin when first applied.
Now, miracle of miracles (if you believe their ad) comes the Pryxo non-invasive blood glucose monitor. You simply stick your finger in it, and five seconds later the digital display shows your reading.

Our advice, save your money. You will probably receive a pulse oximeter to give you your oxygen saturation level and heart rate, not a device to measure your blood glucose. No consumer device has yet been invented and made widely available that doesn’t involve some penetration of the skin.
I agree, very likely to just be a infrared sensor for O2 and pulse.
Thinking about how glucose works, it seems very unlikely to me that they will even be able to invent one that doesn’t require something penetrating the skin.

I order to throw money away or to report exactly what you actually got?
True! I wish I had known this sooner, as I did make the mistake of ordering this.
Elena… and what did you get? Please tell us!
Thank you for this, Ed. Good advice.
I have noticed an increase in the number of “miracle” products advertised on YouTube and Facebook. Glasses that can let you see closeup and far away. Small room air conditioners that work better than the window units. Those hearing aids for a few hundred dollars. All kinds of stuff. None of this works. I make a habit of researching these things on DDG. They are all fake. A few minutes to save $$$.
